Why We Shouldn't Trust the Fossil Fuel Companies 

The NDP's Charlie Angus Tables Bill C-372 Calling for a Ban on Misleading Fossil Fuel Advertising. - The CBC article outlines how the fossil fuel industry has been using the same playbook we saw employed by the tobacco industry and highlighting why the ad campaigns are so destructive.  

A study by Yale University and the Federal Ministry of Environment and Climate Change has found the pollution from the tar sands has been under-reported by as much as 6,300%.

A shocking new report has revealed that research conducted by the oil industry in the 1950's pointed to profound climate impacts from the burning of fossil fuels, confirming the industry knew back then the consequences of their profiteering.

It's official! 2023 was the hottest year on record, with scientists speculating it is the hottest year possibly in the last 125,000 years! What is alarming is "the rate of warming over the past century has no precedent as far back as we are able to look, not only hundreds or thousands, but many millions of years," 

Our plastic obsession has led to an enormous pollution issue but also a climate issue. Researchers are looking at the impacts of microplastics in the atmosphere and whether they good or bad for global warming.
